Cisco AP Embeded WLC to 9800 WLC migration

Hello Members,

i have Site scenario,

We have 12 Access point which is new Catalayst Series AP. Currently we dont have hardware controller. Its working in Embedded WLC mode. Access point itself working as controller.

Now we purchased a new 9800 Series Controller.( Separate hardware Controller)

How can i migrate current embedded WLC configuration to new 9800 WLC controller.??

  - In a first stage approach you could export the running configuration from the embedded WLC and import it to the new 9800 WLC controller , there will be some basic changes first needed , such as the address for controller management.
    Subsequently when preparing the new 9800 WLC also checkout configuration(s) with the CLI command
                     show tech wireless and feed the output into Wireless Config Analyzer

                         Major errors found must always be corrected!!
