Cisco ap has newer firmware then WLC, would it downgrade ?

Good day.

We have Cisco WLC 2504 with fw ver. 8.3.112.0 that already works with few access points.

We purchase new AP 1815i but it has 8.3.143.0 fw ver ( newer than WLC )

All other APs, that we connect to WLC earler, was automaticly updated to WLC fw ver.

Would the new AP downgraded to 8.3.112.0 after connection ? Or it doesent get worked before we upgrade WLC to 8.3.143.0 or newer ?

The WLC manages the firmware of the APs.
If the AP's firmware don't match the WLC, the WLC will push the correct to the AP.
