Hello,

I need to buy a few AP's for Bonaire which is an island near the coast of Venezuela, but also Bonaire is Netherland's colony. So here comes the case what Regulatory Domain should i get, the one for Venezuela or Netherlands ?

  - Near the cost of Venezula does not matter; you should use the regulatory domain for the Netherlands
according to the owner of the territory ,

Who manage the local radio communication over there? Probably Netherlands.

But, actually it does not matter much. Most of south America Country use -A regulatory Domain.

In the same way most European country use -E

  • Refer to Cisco's Wireless Compliance Tool to confirm AP model compatibility for Bonaire.
  • Check with BTP Bonaire to ensure compliance with local wireless regulations.
  • If purchasing through a Cisco reseller, ask them to validate the regulatory domain SKU for Bonaire.
