Cisco AP1262N-A-K9

Hello,

Ok so i tried to but a new image on my AP and putty closed about half way through the installation. now the configuration is messed up. I was wondering is there is anyway to set it back to its factory default settings? I can get into the AP through serial connection but cannot tellnet to it. It does pick up a ip address from DHCP.

Thanks,

Hi ,

If the unit is picking up an IP address then you should be able to ping the unit and access it via GUI or CLI.

If it does not work then use the console port to check the configuration and fix the issues.

Also you could use the mode button procedure to reset the AP to defaults.

What was the code the AP used to have and to what exact file name you upgrade the AP to.
