Hi,
how can i upgrade AP1852, to be managed with Controller?
i erase storage with button MODE.
using console i cannot edit cli:
<Meraki> en
UNRECOGNIZED COMMAND LOGGED TO CLOUD SERVERS.
i cannot login with telnet, because i cannot use any login/password.
I see that AP broadcast SSID, I can connect to AP by wireless.
there is no configuration option in Web interface to upgrade AP.
can you help how can i upgrade AP?
may be bootloader?

It useless because it has an image that isn't one for a Cisco 1852. Seems like someone flashed or tried to flash the AP with a Meraki image. And that will not work. Even if they successfully out a Meraki image on, you will not be able to register that to your Meraki dashboard. You can try to and see if that works for you.
You should ask you colleague about that AP.

No. I would ask the person whom gave that to you, because they would know. That isn't something documented to the public. As you can see, that AP was being used to test something. Ask your colleague for another AP and give that one back to him.
Nothing you can do with that. I would be careful also because you might get your colleague in trouble since that was a beta AP and has the Meraki image.

Hi.
I have same problem but it's an AP just bought with a customer and packaged in cisco box. AP 1832 Version : 8.2.141.0 and the AP give me same king of log but can't register with my 2504... (controller is running 8.3 firmware version)
I don't have yet smart net number to call support and i really need to use it.
The worst is that i already some 1832 registered to my controller but they have been bought with another customer a year ago...
Can someone help me?

Hum... i really don't understand wtf but i've tried to reset with "Mode" Button with more than 20 sec (red led state)... and it's working now...
What happened when AP was made in factory???
