Cisco Catalyst 9800 - Adding Description to local Device Mac Filtering entries

Hi everyone,

Recently i got to implement Catalyst 9800 wireless controller and facing a lot of configuration difference with aireos based WLC. One of them is the difference for configurating Local Device Mac Filtering. In the old Aireos based WLC you can add description for the mac address entries, this will make my customer easier to identify their devices. Just like the image below.

But now in the new Catalyst 9800, it seems there no way to do this.

Currently i am at 16.12.4a release for the catalyst 9800. Is there a way to add the description on the new 9800?

I don't know the answer but have you tried:
- Update to latest release?
- Check command line config options?

I’m running v17.3.1 and there is a description field. Upgrade to a later version, doesn’t have to be 17.3 and see if the field is there.
