Cisco Mobility Express Bundle

Dear Team,

I need to know the validity of Cisco Mobility Express Bundle.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/aironet-2700-series-access-point/brochure-c02-733838.html

I have a scenario where the client needs 10-12 Access Points (They can be AP1602I or AP1702I) along with WLC 2504 with 25 AP Licenses.

Can anyone help me with the following information ?

  • Validity of this bundle ?
  • Which year or month is it going to expire ?
  • the bundle comes up with a Controller and 2 Access Points (AP1702I, I am interested in). If I need to add 8-10 more access points (1702I), can that be included in it (I might purchase AP1602I or AP1702I)?

Regards,

Farhan.

This promo is still on.

Supposed to have expired last 31 July 2015.

You're in a "dilemma".   Have you seen the new AP, 1850?  The new AP1850 has a "built-in" WLC inside.  Similar to what Aruba (now called HP), the 1850 acts as the controller and the other 1850 in the site goes to this "central" AP.

From what I was told, the new 1850 can support up to 25 APs, however, this number will grow in the future when the IOS gets upgraded.

If you have to stick to the 2504, get as many as you can.  You have no idea how much these 2504 cost in the re-sale market right now.
