We are unable see AP and also not Broadcasting.

after troubleshooting i found the below error

DOT11_CFG[1] Radio Mode is changed from FlexConnect to FlexConnect

Hello,

Flexconnect is not an option for Mobility Express. You must be not using Mobility Express on the AP side.

If you have capwap APs you may have to converte them to mobility express.

With show version command you can make sure you are handling mobility express AP. Look for Mobility Express somewhere on the output.

Check this out and make the conversion if necessary then try to join again.

Mobility Express is meant to be easy.

Hi Flavio,

I have Converted the AP in to ME.

after that i can see the Cisco Air Provision ssid broadcasting.

then i have configured the ME clicking on Cisco Air Provision.

as my setup is complete then AP reboots for new configuration.and when AP comes up, i can login with the new credentials and after that i cant see Any Access Point on the TAB of Access point.

and also it doesn't Broadcast.

what i feel that if can see the AP in the Access point TAB then it will broadcast..

pls revert asap if required any output just let me know.

@Sudhir Gupta  can you tell me which APs model do you have?

Also, after the WLC is configured, did you create any new SSID ? If does, did you change the status to enable?

Let me know and let´s see what else we can help you.

Hi Flavio,

i am online..if possible can you pls revert asap...

Adding Few Points

on wireless setting it should show AP

Wireless Settings > Access Points.

Access Point with the P

this i unable to see..

Well, this solution is meant to be simple. As far as I know there´s not much you can do.

Feel things you can check is network connectivity, maybe try to boot everything and start over again, try to log on the Access Point subordinate and take via CLI and take a look on logs. There are also some debug commands you can run on the Controller like:

debug capwap detail enable
debug capwap events enable
debug capwap errors enable

 Try to share logs here.

Hi Falvio,

let me check this debug, will update you on this..

also what i have notice that error "switching Flexconnect to Flextconnect mode".as i mentioned in my 1st post.

does this mean that AP is going to flexconnect mode, and may  this will be the reason that ap is not showing in the  GUI in wireless setting.

Also Thanks for the Quick Reply.

According to cisco:

"Cisco Mobility Express has been built on the FlexConnect architecture and supports central authentication of clients and local switching of data traffic. Similar to how it is in FlexConnect, APs running Cisco Mobility Express support both the Connected and Standalone Mode."

Try to get those logs and let´s see if they tell us something.

Hi Flavio,

attaching some snapshots for your reference.

one thing i notice that there is no WLAN ID, even i am add wlan is example 1,2,3 etc,

Hi,

is there any update for this...

Hi @Sudhir Gupta

Sorry for take so long.

We can see that AP sent join request and WLC respond with join response.

 But the process stops here.

Make sure time and date is correct on the WLC. Of course both need to be mobility express but you already fixed that right.

You can try to collect some logs from the WLC side as well.
