There are a lot of factors affecting roaming while using autonomous APs:

1.  RSSI;

2.  SNR;

3.  Interference; and

4.  Coverage

Best bet is to get a wireless site survey and start from there. Cisco Mobility Bundle is still available.

Agree with Leo...there are many factor..

In order to facilitate roaming, the AP radios have to overlap enough to get a good signal from one of them at all times in the transition zone. So long as the AP radios are on well-separated channels they work well.

If you done the proper site survey and installed the AP correctly then YES Roaming will work perfectly.

Thanks Sandeep for these informations well that mean in SAP APs if you design the correct channels ether 2.4G or 5G but should be fixed not ( auto channels ) in this case if there is even if you don't run controller the APs will act as roaming consindering all facts which was mentioned by Leo as well !

design the correct channels ether 2.4G or 5G but should be fixed not

No one can "design" what channels the APs should operate on, particularly with autonomous APs.  The environment changes by the minute or by the hour.  One minute an adjacent office does not have wireless.  The next minute some fut nuck decides to turn on their wireless at channel 6 and at full power.

This is the main reason why controller-based AP is the best way to go.  This is even more so when the Cisco Mobility Express Bundle is dirt-cheap right now.
