Does anyone know what image requires to convert the 3502i AP s to work as autonomous ?

Well, you could use the 1260 image since the radios are the same, but it is not supported by Cisco.  You will not get the features that the 3500 offers also.  The image on CCO under the IOS software for the 3500, is wrong... thats a lightweight IOS.
