hi
I'm going to migrate my company wifi network from 11b to 11g.Thus, we'll be changing the cisco wireless lan adapters(350 aironet to cb21ag) for quite a number of laptop.
My question is: Is there a fast way to do it? can we export the wifi nic config profile to a file, install the driver for the new wifi nic, and then copy the profile config file back to the folder of the new wifi nic driver and begin the testing of 11g connectivity(instead of re-configure all the wifi settings in all wifi nic again)?
Thanks for the help

Hi,
There is a Profile Migration Tool built into the version 2.5 and 3.0 Aironet Desktop Utility (ADU) for just this purpose. The tool is run via command line on the PC that contains the ACU (350 client) profiles and tne CB21AG installed. Refer to the following URL for the steps required to complete the task:
On a side note, Aironet Client Administration Utility (ACAU) version 3.0 can help automate the task if you have a large client population to convert.
