Hey gang in lab I am trying to get SLAAC for ipv6 working for a single client and not having success. I can statically setup ipv6 global addresses on my test client and hit my gateway no problem. When I plug in wired I can pull SLAAC addresses all day from our internal router which makes me thing I dont have something configured correctly on the controller. I am using 7.4.121.0 firmware with 1142N AP's
Is SLAAC for clients supported for pre 8.0 code? Am I missing something really dumb here?

For IPv6, best option is AireOS 8.0 onward code.
Regarding 2504, it may not support all advanced IPv6 features due to its memory/cpu limitations.
Here is the release notes for 8.1 which is the latest

Thank you for the response and information.. I am unable to make the jump 8.0 + yet and need to get some type of ipv6 working with 7.4 if possible. From this link it says SLAAC should be supported. I am still perplexed on why no love :(
