Cisco Wireless Controller Config

Community Member

Hallo,

I want to configure cisco wireless Controller using Packet Tracer.

I have configured 2 Vlans(OFFICE , PRODUKT) on 3Layer Switch.

VLAN 10

OFFICE

192.168.10.1

VLAN20

PRODUKT

192.168.20.1

DHCP Pools for Vlans have configured

LWAP have conneted to port 4(access port on vlan10)

LWAP have conneted to port 5(access port on vlan 20)

What must the Configuration on WLC (management IP:192.168.1.254 on default vlan) to join the Access points?

  - You dont' configure a controller with a packet tracer. The latter is a tool for analyzing network packets. Wireless controller configuration tutorial is find below (that is only an example link). For in-depth knowledge consult the CISCO documentation (configuration guides).

I suspect Hassan might be talking about https://www.netacad.com/courses/packet-tracer which is a networking simulator used in Cisco training. If that is the case then this question has nothing to do with configuring a real WLC and is really a question about how to use Cisco training software which should be posted in an appropriate training forum or whatever support is provided by Cisco Networking Academy. There's a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cisconetworkingacademy/ and see https://www.netacad.com/courses/packet-tracer/introduction-packet-tracer
