Cisco Wireless Controller License Upgrade

Hi,

Currently my WLC having capacity of 80 and i need to add more AP's to that. For that i am having one product Key and license. I need to know howm many more Ap's i can add to the WLC with this License. My product name is L-LIC-CT5508-UPG

Hi Rakesh,

5508 WLC can support max of 500AP. So if you have currently 80 AP license installed on it then you can add 420 more AP license on it.

You can buy any of these:

L-LIC-CT5508-5A
L-LIC-CT5508-25A
L-LIC-CT5508-50A
L-LIC-CT5508-100A
L-LIC-CT5508-250A

I saw that table and there it mentioned like this. Is it mean we can add total 420 APs

Yes, But you need to order adder license in combination of these(multiple of 5):

L-LIC-CT5508-5A
L-LIC-CT5508-25A
L-LIC-CT5508-50A
L-LIC-CT5508-100A
L-LIC-CT5508-250A

Okay, so u mean UPG license is the base one and we need to purchase adder license also. So how we are uploading the license, only the adder license or both UPG and adder

You just need to buy adder license in combination of above 5 , which i mentioned in my last post.

only adder license can be added to cisco WLC.

Hello Dear,

 We are adding this ( L-LIC-CT5508-5A ) APs license but unfortunately this is not showing on CCW. So how to add?
