My company recently implemented a new Cisco wireless controller based system. I wasn't a part of the initial configuration and deployment as I was quite busy with other projects at the time, but as the main administrator of our previous Aruba wireless system the new Cisco system was given to me. I've been stumbling around it a bit, but my company has some Cisco learning credits I was hoping to use to get some training. All I need is training on the Cisco controller OS. I don't need to know what RF is or how wireless packets work. I literally just want administrator training on the OS. Does anybody have any recommendations for good training courses for this that take Cisco learning credits?

The Cisco Wireless Controller (WLC) series devices provide a single solution to configure, manage and support corporate wireless networks, regardless of their size and locations. Cisco currently offers a number of different WLC models, each targeted for different sized networks.

What type of Cisco controllers did you get? AireOS based(3504,5520,8540) or IOS-XE based (9800). There are 3 official Cisco Wireless training that you can get using Cisco Learning Credits
1, WLFNDU v1.0 - Understanding Cisco Wireless Foundations (5 days)
Introduction to Cisco wireless and basic configs on both types of WLC (AireOS, C9800). Still cover wireless fundamentals, so it is not 100% hands-on lab training.
2. ENWLSD v1.0 - Designing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks (5 days)
Primarily design aspects and certain hands-on labs with Ekahau site survey tool
3. ENWLSI v1.1 - Implementing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Network (5days)
Labs are based on Cisco 9800 and no AireOS labs
If you like on-demand training for these courses, you can try below, you can purchase using CLC as well
