Cisco Wireless Splash Page not opening on Android Phones

Hi, We are facing issues in our Cisco Wireless environment, some of the Android Phones are not able to reach the Cisco Splash page when they connect to Guest Wireless SSID? Its working fine on laptops and iPhones.  When user connects to Guest Wireless it launches the Splash Page (https://1.1.1.1) but it stays stuck and the page is blank. Has anyone faced this issue.  I have seen some DNS workaround but looking for some solid fix.

Please note, it's not (anymore) suggested to use the IP 1.1.1.1 for the guest login, because that IP is now assigned and being used by Cloudflare as a DNS server.

You'd better use a 10.x.x.x address, or similar.

Hi

Do you have valid certificate on this page? If so, make sure you have installed the whole chain.

Hi, Thanks for your comments. We have multiple office locations on one location changing Virtual IP Address from 1.1.1.1 to 2.1.1.1 helped as 1.1.1.1 is taken by cloud flare. But we on other Office we see some Certificate expired issue on Guest Wireless Login Page.  Can you share a document for how to Install Certificate chain?

Thanks, I am going to change the virtual interface IP Address now, I have read on other posts that it requires a reboot after changing virtual Interface?

I don't remember that, but I suggest to do it in a maintenance window. If you need a reboot, also consider to do a firmware update of the WLC.
