- Can't see the need because DFS is automated : however look at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/200046-tac-recommended-aireos.html , and use a recommended release for your controller ,

This FN will have instructions on how to disable DFS channels in AireOS and IOS-XE.

I would recommend against disabling all DFS channels because that could leave you with a very congested environment on the remaining channels especially in a high density setting like an airport. If the airport is complaining about the APs or the APs are constantly detecting the radar then best to check the exact frequencies the radar is using and only disable the channels which overlap with that. Also make sure you're using channel width 20MHz - the wider the channel width the higher the possibility of false radar detection and the greater the impact of actual radar detection.
And as Leo and Marce have highlighted you should update to the latest code version 8.5.182.11 or 8.10.185.3 because there have been numerous fixes and enhancements to DFS and radar detection including this latest one highlighted in the recent field notice.
