Cisco WLC and AP authentication

Hello !

I would like to authenticate my access points with their MAC address. Is there a way to do this with the controller Cisco WLC?

In  the GUI of Cisco WLC, I noticed that there was a 802.1X Supplicant Credentials menu (AP details page > Credentials) and I didn't understand how to use it. Is it used to authenticate the AP via a Radius server ? How does it work ?
