Clarification on Mac-Filtering on ME (mobility express) WLC

Hi all, I was commissioned to configure client ME WLC. They're using 3820 series. Client required 1 wlan open wifi with mac-filter auth.

So, i came accross this warning when I tried to configure this wlan,  "Security Type of Open is not allowed when MAC Filtering is enabled"

Was it really not possible to do this on ME type?

Thanks in advance

All the documentation I´ve been looking ask to add some kind of authentication when selecting Mac filtering. From the version 8.4 up to version 8.9

 - I would like to confirm @Flavio Miranda  's opinion in the sense that the message is 'as clear as it is' ; indicating that this possibility is not implemented on the aireos platform. From some brief browsing in the 9800 documentation it seems possible ; you can always download and deploy a (the) 9800 cloud controller for free , and test this as such on that platform (and or review the configuration menu's and options).  If possible , migrating becomes an extra motivation because the aireos/ME platforms are EOL.
