This is a very broad question.  Please elaborate and provide more information:

1.  WLC firmware;

2.  AP model(s);

3.  What country is the APs installed in?

Hi,

Ap installed  in SA

ap 3700

version 3.03 .

My question  is  does the controller  will change the channel of AP'S when it face severe  CCI?

Or what action controller takes

Thanks

My question  is  does the controller  will change the channel of AP'S when it face severe  CCI?

Yes & no.

Let's presume there's a large rectangular building and the entrance & exit are at the end of the building.

Let's presume CleanAir is enabled.

Ok, so here's how it goes:

There's a guy who comes in from one end of the building and he's got a BT headset.  The APs closest to the BT headset will determine how strong the interference is.  The APs nearest the BT headset will look at the strength of the co-channel interference.  Since it's very strong, the AP will change channel.  The other APs who can detect the BT evaluate the strength of the co-channel interference.  If there the strength is low, then the AP does nothing.  The APs at the other end of the building but away from the BT interference, sees nothing so they do nothing.

Hi,

Lets assume  ap1 ,ap2 ,ap3,ap4  is running   1 ,6,11 and 1 respectively. And  a portable router nearby ap1 which is also running channel 1 ,clients are getting more signal than from AP1 .

If ap1 change to channel from 1 to 11 there will from  co-channel interference from  the neighbor AP .

Does beam-forming will solve the problem ?

Thanks

Beam forming has nothing to do with co-channel interference.

If ap1 change to channel from 1 to 11 there will from  co-channel interference from  the neighbor AP .

If WLC Dynamic Channel Assignment (DCA) is turned on then the neighbor AP will change channels.  If WLC Tx Power Control (TPC) then the controller can change the TX power of the AP.  Both DCA & TPC are tools WLC can use to minimize co-channel interference.
