I have heard many different things about what cards work with Mac OS software and I am confused. I have a Mac Lab with several older computers (OS-7) and some newer computers with (OS-8,9) on them. What cards if any will work in those machines? It doesn't have to be vendor specific, it just needs to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dave

I doubt any WLAN cards are supported in system 7, and I'm not sure about 8 (since I don't run it any more), but in OS 9 and OS X (10.1), you can use the Apple Airport cards, or Cisco 340/350. There may be others. Those are just the ones I know of.
BTW: I've also used my 350 NIC / W2K laptop with my Airport base station at home.

Use a Station Adapter (or WGB). The MAC will think it's wired Ethernet.
