Hello Team, I get some clients on Guest failing to associate. And this is what I find in Prime events about one of the clients.

Can someone help with the explanation for this event and the fix.

Also client is supposed to get the EUP page and accept it. But it goes straight to you have successfully connected to the network. But no internet connection.

Client 'XXXXX (XXXXX)' failed to associate with interface '802.11a/n/ac' of AP 'XXXX'. The reason code is '15(Unknown)

 - You don't include details about the wireless  environment  ; such as controller model + software version and AP models being used

Controller : Cisco 5520 Wireless Controller

AP model is : AIR-CAP3702I-B-K9

 - You didn't include the software version yet , but that is no too important for the moment , as per https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/200046-tac-recommended-aireos.html
kind of make sure to use https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286284738/type/280926587/release/8.10.190.0
This is becoming more important these days , as these models are being superseded by the 9800 controller generation , and or it is advisable to use the last release available for these older models

- Have a checkup of the controller configuration using : WirelessAnalyzer input (procedure) for AireOs controllers
and feed the output from that into Wireless Config Analyzer

 - Debug the client fully 'from start' using https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/aironet-1200-series/100260-wlc-debug-client.html , you can have resulting client debugs high level analyzed with Wireless Debug Analyzer

Thank you for all the contributions.

This was being caused by a configuration issue in ISE.

For future remember to do a debug on the client MAC address on the controller and then use the Debug Analyzer (link below) to get a cleaned up version of the debug logs.
