Hello,
I have an silly issue but i'm blocked.
I'm working on a 892W router.
To close the session between the wireless device and the router's console, the command Control-Shift-6 x is required.
The Issue is that this command is not working for me. I'm using a SuperPuTTY connecting tool.
Is there any trick ?
Thanks
Florent

are you in the router? if you are do disconnect, it will ask you to disconnect the session that goes to the AP.
ctrl+shift+^ only works if you are still in the session and want/need to go back a level.
HTH,
Steve

hello,
Thanks for your response.
I'm in the AP (in the session).
ctrl+shift+^ don't works
I need to specify that i'm using a AS2511-RJ to connect to the console port.

To exit out of the imbedded AP it's Ctrl+Shift+6 and then X.
This pushes you out and into the router. To disconnect the console session from the router to the AP, then enter the router command "disco" and press the enter key TWICE.

Hello,
As said above, "Ctrl+Shift+6 and then X" command is not working for me.
However, i found that when i log on console through a AS, without AS, or throught a telnet session, it's not the same behavior.
Finally with a telnet session the key "Ctrl+Alt+6 and then X" is working.
We can close the topic.
Maybe that will help someone.
Thanks. Cheers !

Must be an issue with what you are using. I use SecureCRT and I am able to exit out of my embedded AP when consoled, ssh, or using telnet.

So, after more investigations, i found what's wrong.
In my config for line vty, there was a "escape-character BREAK" command ...
After deleting, it's work fine
Thanks a lot for spending time for me.

If using minicom, send a break command via the minicom help menu as this keyboard sequence does not work.
