Solved: Re: Code 12?

Has anyone seen this before? I was looking in the event viewer on our windows server under server roles/network policy and access services and found a bunch of the same error. The error says "A RADIUS message with the code field set to 12, which is not valid, was received on port 1812 from RADIUS client Meraki Net". We have named the client "Meraki Net" in our NPS setup.

What is code 12? Has anyone encountered that error before? It sounds like Meraki is doing something wrong but I'm not sure.

Code 12 is a Status code that is defined much later than the RADIUS standard. It is optional and perhaps you can disable it in the NPS setup. You can also capture the traffic between the NPS and the AP to look at the contents of the message for more information.
