Configuring Cisco AP as a WiFi Extender/Repeater

Hello everyone, 

I have weak WiFi signal in my house and for that reason, I have bought a Cisco AP with this model: 
Cisco Systems Business 240AC Wi-Fi Access Point, 802.11ac, 4x4, 2 GbE Ports, Ceiling Mount, Limited Lifetime Protection (CBW240AC-A-CA)

I need to configure this AP as a WiFi Extender/Repeater but when I tried to turn it on and connect web GUI, it does not show anything and I can not connect to device, I bought also a POE adapter and I also connected to my internet modem, what should I do for configuration?

To my knowledge, these APs don't work as a repeater itself, you need a Mesh Extender for that:

I have checked datasheet of your AP model and found mesh extender is supported in this model. Please refer datasheet link: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/business-200-series-access-points/smb-01-bus-240ac-ap-ds-cte-en.html

Hi,

Datasheet sheet mentions that your access point is capable to do this because Mesh Extender feature is available in your access point. Please configure root access point and you'll be able to form mesh. You didn't mentioned controller you are using. I am sharing document for 9800 controller to configure mesh access point. The CBW APs are not compatible with the 9800 controller. They are a little bit like Mobility Express. I still believe they don't mesh on their own; they need the mesh extender for this. However, the controller AP can manage multiple APs connected with ethernet.

That's true, they are not compatible with 9800 wlc. I just share document for their reference. His topology is not so clear.
