Hello everyone,I hope you are all well?
so I have a little project in mind. I'm getting my hands on a Cisco 887 router in the next few weeks and would like to implement this into my home network as a gateway to my fibre broadband.
now, as it has no wireless functionality, in particular, 802.11n, I'm think about getting an access point that will look after my permitted users wifi connection.
is this a big job? I'm fairly confident in regards to setting up the router, however, setting up the access point to manage wireless not so much.
i don't want to go to the extent of implementing LAN controllers etc and was wondering if I could use something like the Cisco Aironets AP's or something like the AP541.
any help will be much appreciated and I look forward to talk to you all
Darren
