We have an MSE and have been running 5.x for some time. When we upgrade to 6.0, is there some sort of grandfathering of licensing?

Prior to 6.0 the licensing was an honor based system. If you purchased a license and put it away for the eventual upgrade to
6.0 then you would just use that license. If you have never purchased a license you will need to do so to support tracking of clients and tags.
