Connecting AIR-LAP1262N to WCS

Hi everyone,

I believe I know the answer to this question already but I just wanted to make sure.  Is it possible to connect a LAP access point driectly to WCS without using a WLC?  WCS is just for management and reporting and does not act as a WLC.  Is that correct?

That is correct. WCS is for templating and reporting.  You would still need the WLC to actually control the AP directly.
