Connecting to another SSID from Apple Device

I have WLC 3504 using 8.7.160 firmware and AIR-AP2802i

I have created 2 WLAN (Existing) on WLC, for example :

  1. VIP, (Layer 2 Security + WPA+WPA2, PSK)
  2. Staff. (Open, Mac Address Filtering, Local mac address defined on WLC

Problem :

  1. The first using Apple devices with OS 10.13 connected with "Staff" SSID needs time for connect to SSID was about 2-3 minutes delay.
  2. - Apple devices with OS 10.13 connected with "Staff" SSID and then changed to "VIP" with 1 minute delay until it's connected.- After using the "VIP", I changed back to "Staff" SSID. The time until it's connected was 2-3 minutes delay.
  3. If using mac OS under 10.12 and windows OS, the delay time was under 1 minute.

Please help and suggestions for optimizing end device (Mac OS 10.13), especially for fast transition SSID from one to another SSID

Is it better to setup WLAN open sec + mac filtering or Define Layer 2 Security + Mac Filtering

Choose either WPA or WPA2.  Don't enable both.  It won't work well.

Is "Fast SSID Change" enabled?

I've changed WLAN settings like this :

I've checked Fast SSID Change "enable" as well, but still need more times to connect back to another SSID

What happens if the SSID is OPEN?

Try to disable ios mac address randomization on the iphone, this might cause issues with Mac Filtering.

I've tried, but still same...

Below is debug file from WLC

If OPEN authentication is still having a problem then it is no longer a "wireless" issue.
What kind of wireless clients have you tested this with?

I have been testing on mac OS 10.10 - 10.12, but this case has been solved.

Now I have new issues, I did register mac address my client manually on mac filtering. They still couldn't connect to wifi with SSID mac filtering (open authentication). The devices are from both Windows and Mac Operating system.

See my previous answer:
