Connection problem when changing to AP2800 hidden SSID

Hello everyone,
There is a wireless network in use with AP2800 ME.
I plan to link one more AP and change the SSID to a hidden SSID.
The added AP operates normally and there is no connection problem.

The IPs of all AP users connected to the controller AP are in the same IP band.
wap2-personal / password is a simple setting that only asks for a password.

1. Change WLAN->Broad cast ssid from enabled to disabled using GUI
2. Save the config
3. From then on, the SSID will not be visible and cannot be connected.
4. activate Broad cast SSID again, the connection will work fine.

Can I change the 2800AP to the stand press version?
Is this not supported by mobile Express?

This is a standalone mode.

2800AP is now Mobile Express mode

From then on, the SSID will not be visible and cannot be connected.

This expected behavior as per i know, since you have hidden the SSID, are you able to manually connect know SSID, since that SSID no Longer broadcasted ?

Even if I manually create an SSID, the connection does not work.

If the clients only perform passive scanning, then they won't see the SSID and are not able to join. Check if the client support active scanning.

Why are you hidding the SSID? That doesn't add any layer of security to someone trying to sniff the traffic.

Due to a security audit, I plan to use it without exposing the SSID.
The connecting client is a smartphone.
