My problem is that I keep running out of IP addresses on my wireless subnet. I would like to create a contguos subnet with the theory that this would create a seamless roaming enviroment. In one of my other buildings I have two seperate subnets configured between floors and when people go between floors they sometimes have trouble getting an IP address again.
Is anyone doing this? Any problems with DHCP?
Example below:
147.154.182.0 255.255.254.0 subnet, and broadcast 147.154.183.254
Hosts available 147.154.182.1 through 147.154.183.254
Thanks,
Bob

If you have a deep pocket, purchase a CAT6K chassis, a SUP720, and a WLSM module. Then, you can enable the latest layer 3 roaming on the Cisco APs.
