Controller 4402 and Wireless Workgroup Bridge

I migrated an wireless network with autonomous ap 1231 access-points to a LWAPP solution with 4402 controllers.

After this migration a ap 1231 workgroup bridge don't work.

Is the IOS workgroup bridge compatible with a controller 4402 LWAPP solution?

Is a spezial configuration necessary?

First of all, if you upgrade from autonomous to LWAPP, you have to use the upgrade tool to upload the IOS and generate a Signed-signature cert. in the AP, then the upgrade tool will import the SSC to the WLC.

If the SSC cannot be import to the WLC, it may be the WLC firmware is not updated and not able to support SSC, so you have to upgrade the WLC first. If the SSC still not able to import to the WLC, you have to import it manually. Check below for details.

The AP1231 as a WGB is not supported in the LWAPP solution yet. That's why it isn't working. And in anticipation of your next question--when will it be supported? We can't comment on roadmap in a public forum like this, so check with your Cisco account team and they can provide you the info under NDA terms.
