controller for CAP 9120

Will the Cisco AIR-CT5508-50-K9 5500 manage my CAP 9120AXE?  I am unable to access the C9120AXE to change IP.  If not, what controller do I need for this wifi 6 AP?  Thank you.

You need 9800 WLC.

 5508 support up to version 8.5 and this AP start in 8.10.

what is the code running on your WLC, you need to have support WLC Code running for the new Catalyst 9K AP to work.

did this join WLC? if not you have only the option console.
