Hi,
I've converted a couple of Autonomous APs to lightweight recently and once they reboot they have a static IP configured on them, which then requires console access to remove the static IP.
Below are the commands I run to convert the AP:
AP#archive tar /xtract ftp://username:password@FTP Server IP/ap1g2-rcvk9w8-tar.152-2.JB3.tar flash:/
AP(config)#boot system flash:/filename
AP#copy run start
Is there something I'm missing in my process which will prevent the AP from having a static IP address when it reboots and loads the lightweight image?
Thanks,

AP#copy run start
Instead of saving the config, you need to delete the config using the command "wr default".

Thanks Leo!
This saved me from breaking a bunch of APs half way around the world. I broke one, then found your post - lifesaver! I really thought I had bricked the AP.
