convert WAP 1562i LWAP to autonoms - Error: Image update failed

Hi All,

 

I was trying to convert Cisco 1562i  WAP from light wieght to autonoumus using the command

"ap-type mobility-express tftp://192.168.100.117/AIR-AP1560-K9-ME-8-10-162-0.tar"

 

but its failling in the end with below error, any help?

Looks like the image corrupted here.

 

Are you Looking to convert to Mobility Express?

 

Suggestions :

 

1. download a new image from the cisco site and check the MD5

2. or download old 8.3/8.5  install and later upgrade to  8.10

Yes i`m looking to convert to mobility express.

unfortunately my contract is not allowing me to download lower version for the same device. so strange!!!

I`m stuck,

 

 

Contact Local cisco partner to help you, there may be some images around google.com search, but i dont trust they work as expected, again its your call.
