correct code for access point 1131?

I have a new 1131 (AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9) running 12.3(11)JX1 but I need it to operate as a bridge, so what code should I be runnning? I

believe it first needs to be converted back to autonomous, yes - no? Thanks Tom

Hi there,

Great question.  You need to first convert the LAP from Lightweight to Autonomous.  Here's how:

Also, be sure you're running a Cisco IOS software releases prior to Cisco IOS 12.4(3g)JA and 12.3(8)JEB for that 1131 acting as the WGB.  Your WLC will need to be on WLC code 4.1.185.0 or later.  Here's a great guide that explains these requirements in more detail along with Configuration Examples:
