Hi,
One of my customers implemented a single WLC over a year ago.
They now want to expand with a second WLC and add WCS for management.
WCS is able to retrieve the current config from a controller which is a nice feature. But what i would like to do is use the config from the primary (existing) WLC, convert that into WCS templates, so i can push the templates to the new controller after initial setup.
Is that possible?
Thanks, Marcel

Ah, just found out that this is possible.
You can disover templates from an connected controller. These can be use for new controllers...

If your running 4.2.61.0 or later, it's easier to just backup the config of your existing wlc and then open it in a text editor and change the ip address, host name, etc. then just upload that to the new wl after you get it configured.
Make sure you are running the same code on each wlc. Later code supports auto install feature, but if it's just one wlc, it's easier to just edit the file and upload it.
