Has anyone found a way to make auto-LAG work on Cisco AP's? I have 9136 AP's on a Cat 9300 switch stack and it would be great for this feature to work.

Hi @David Block
Maybe you didn't read the bug you just referenced!
CSCwn42731 is an enhancement request (only raised in December 2024) - the feature does not currently exist so it is not possible today!
Enhancement requests are customer (occasionally TAC) requests for new features to be implemented.
The relevant BU will consider implementing the feature based on customer business case (how many $$$$ is this feature worth in sales) and various other criteria. If the feature is approved then it gets prioritised for a future software release along with every other feature being implemented. Some enhancement requests never make it that far and do not ever get implemented. If Cisco decides to implement this then the bug status will change to Fixed and you will see what software release(s) it was implemented in, in the Known Fixed Releases. It will usually also be mentioned in the relevant Release Notes and the config guide should be updated to document the use of the feature. Enhancement requests (if ever implemented) usually take at least 6 months, sometimes years.
If this feature is important to you/your business you should get your Cisco account team to present a business case to the BU motivating why Cisco should implement it. The more customers asking for it the better the chances of it getting implemented but the most important factors to Cisco are: 1. how many $$$ does the requesting customer spend each year with Cisco? and 2. how many incremental sales will this feature generate for Cisco?
