Hello all.
Is there any best practice for "DCA Channel Sensitivity", especially for 2.4GHz band?
I'm generally cautious about adjusting these types of settings but I would like to know from you all about your experience on changing DCA channel sensitivity to "High - 5dB". I've been trying to find more details about these values related to Low, Medium and High but I don't seem to find.
The reason behind that is that I'm trying as much as we can, to avoid noisy channels at one facility and I've been thinking of tweaking these parameters to see if it helps. What I'm also thinking about is, maybe if I change this level to High, I can change DCA Interval to 60 minutes to avoid very frequent channel changes.

wifi is meant to deal with interference. I would keep everything in the automaitc pilot and leave the WLC doing its job.
Just make sure you have decent coverage, your software version is uptodate and your clients adapter driver is uptodate.
Tweaking RF parameters usally leads to a more problems.

Hi @Flavio Miranda ! Thanks for your quick response on this matter.
I also agree with you on that part. I usually don't tweak these parameters too. Just wanted to share that and listen from you all!
Thank you!!!

Got it. There might be a few condition where tweak wifi parameters may be necessary but if possible, keep it under WLC RRM responsability
