I have an Aironet 340 Bridge which recently stopped functioning with the following symptoms:
1. The ethernet light is steady amber (even when disconnected, and the 10BaseT lights continue to flash when disconnected).
2. The status light is steady red.
3. The radio light has a quck amber blink.
4. Cannot connect via IP or the serial cable.
My question is this: can it be resurrected? Or should I just bury it?
I bought this for personal use when they first came out and do not have any extended service contract. Anybody know what the default warranty is for these?
Thanks.

The bridge could possibly be fixed. You can either contact a local Cisco sales representative to see how much it would be to get it replaced or you can check around for a company that repairs the devices. The 340 series bridges have been End of Lifed (EOL) http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps441/prod_eol_notice09186a008009246a.html This means that you will not be able to get a new one, but you should be able to get a refurbished one. Usually there is a 90 day warranty on the Aironet devices.

Thanks for the info, I'll look into the repair options.
