DHCP config for mixed AP (3500, 3600 AP) on 2504

Just got a hold of a 2504-5 WLC unit and before it arrives I wanted to do a bit of config work.

Currently have 2x 3502e, 1x 3502i, 2x 3602e all set in auto mode

The issue I'm hung up on in setting the dhcp options for multiple vendor classes.

but I suppose the first question would be how does the 2504 handle mixed APs if it even does?  Would love to swap out the 3500's with 3600's but money doesn't grow on trees!

Any pointers, suggestions, words of wisdom would be great!

thanks

Yes, it support mix AP models.

First check the software version on your 2504 and make sure that supports given AP models. Refer below link for the information

I would suggest 8.0.120.0 code at this time.

Simply connect these AP onto switchports configured as "access port" on the same vlan as 2504 management. So you can define DHCP on your switch or pointing to a DHCP server if you have any. I would not use 2504 as DHCP for AP/clients.
