Hi,

yes you can do it.. Configure the DHCP pool on any Layer 3 device and under the SSID, map the respective VLAN.. this will help you..

that is..

SSID one

vlan 1

end

ssid two

vlan 2

end

make sure the AP conecting to the switchport should allow both the vlans (trunk port)

or even the below link mat help you as well

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-14496

lemme know if this answered your question..

can you tell me what all I need to configure when and where it is possible

First let's figure out what it is exactly you are trying to accomplish.  Then we will go from there.

Are you saying that you want to hand out different DCHP IP adresses on the wireless SSIDs than the IP adresses of the wired network?

Thanks,

Scott

To this I mean I do not know if this is possible

Ethernet interfaces
ip range 10.10.10.0 255,255,255,248
vlan 1

One ssid
Vlan 2
Authentication open
Mbssid Guest mode
ip range 20.20.20.0 255,255,255,248

ssid two
Vlan 3
Authentication open
Mbssid Guest mode
ip range 20.20.20.0 255,255,255,248

Hi,

Where do you have your DHCP server? On the connected switch or another external DHCP server?

Under which vlan do you have the BVI interface of the AP?

Regards,

Maithri

the router itself, I would dhcp lease from parts of different ssid "
Example

One ssid
20.20.20.0 255,255,255,248
vlan 2

ssid two
30.30.30.0 255,255,255,248
vlan 3

that's the idea but do not know how it works
