Difference between Optimized and Assisted roaming?

Can someone explain what the difference is between optimized roaming and assisted roaming?  I need to distribute the client load among access points.

From what I have read, it looks like one of these has superseded the client load balancing feature, but I am not sure which one.  Which one of these, optimized or assisted roaming, would distribute the client load among access points, and how do I enable it?  Are these options available in AireOS 7.6, or do we need to upgrade?

Refer the links : http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-0/configuration-guide/b_cg80/b_cg80_chapter_010011001.html

Because both load balancing and assisted roaming are designed to influence the AP that a client associates with, it is not possible to enable both the options at the same time on a WLAN.

Configure assisted roaming prediction list feature for a WLAN by entering this command:

config wlan assisted-roaming prediction {enable | disable} wlan-id

Note

A warning message is displayed and load-balancing is disabled for the WLAN if load-balancing is already enabled for the WLAN.
