different IP addresses for same AP

HI,

i have configured autonomous AP with IP 172.16.10.127 and brought it in network

it is directly connected to core switch. when i do sh cdp neighbor gig6/8 detail, it is showing IP address of AP as 172.16.10.68.

help on this..

ok!! get the access to the AP and assign the IP address again manually..

conf t

int bvi 1

ip addr

no shut

end

See if we are still able to get other IP addr..

when i got console and do sh ip int br, it showed -

Dot11Radio0                unassigned      YES NVRAM  up                    up

Dot11Radio1                unassigned      YES NVRAM  administratively down down

FastEthernet0              172.16.10.68    YES NVRAM  up                    up

fastethernet was different.. how it was something different?

i configured this AP from web interface.

Your management IP address should be the BV1 and not the FastEthernet0.  You don't need to assign an IP address to the FE.

As leo stated. the IOS AP should be assigned the IP on BVI interface not any where else!!
