DNA Subscription licenses on the 2700

Regarding DNA subscription licenses for 2700 APs and a 5520 WLC: This document (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/nb-06-wrles-dna-sub-lic-og-cte-en.html) says there is limited support on wave 1 APs for all the DNA features. Do we know what the limited support means?

Also, how does the 2700 consume DNA subscription licenses? The 2700 doesn't appear to be a supported platform per:

The limited features are probably icap and other features that is supported on the 91x0 access points and the wave 2.  Every device consumes a license in DNAc from what I was told, so if there is a bunch of wave 1 access points, they would need DNAc license in order to monitor.
