I have one Access Point 340 connected to my Cisco 3550 Switch
and I have another Cisco Work Group bridge connected to another switch
with 4 clients on it.
I can communicate with access point from the hosts via workgroup bridge
only if I have static IPs but how can I configure my workgroup bridge or the access point so that I can get my clients behind the workgroup bridge to
get dynamic ip addresses from DHCP.

Hi ,
make sure you are running latest firmware on the wgb .
If you go in the wgb you can set it to get dynamic ip
WGB is layer2 so host behind it should get dynamic ip . If not troubleshoot on dhcp
server and see if dhcp server is getting discovery ?
On ap there is option wgb in infrastructure mode but that is for environment with
too many wgb

Hi Nilesh,
The WGB is running V8.24,I changed the config of the
WGB to get a dynamic address from the DHCP,but it only assigns a dynamic
address to WGB,which means DHCP can assign ip address to WGB
via Access-point but still clients behind the WGB can't get the dynamic address :(
Any Suggestions
