I am wanting to troubleshoot the last week's log on a AP, but it only shows 12 hours.
What is the config I need to run to save the logs from the last restart to a file on a server?
Thanks for any info.

Matt
It is not practical to store that large a log file on the AP due to memory limits. The solution is to configure a syslog server on a PC and then configure the AP to log events on hte server. You can use tftp32.exe for the syslog server function.

setup the syslog server with tftp32.exe
enter "logging
The AP will log to "local7" on the syslog server.

Thanks for the replies from both of you.
We do have logging facility local0 setup, which I am assuming is just logging on the AP itself.
I will get with the network team to set up a pc as the syslog server and see what happens.
thanks and I'll let you know how it goes.
Matt
