Add "switchport trunk native vlan 210" to your trunk configuration

in example 1. The (invisible) default makes VLAN 1 native, which means

frames in VLAN 210 are tagged and devices without trunk configuration

or a different native VLAN won't accept these frames.

Do you also have a dot1q-trunk configured on the AP?

Hi kka,

yes, i've added the "switchport trunk native vlan210" in the switch, but where do i add dot1q-trunk configured on the AP ? as i am using Aironet Access Point 1200 Series.

regards,

Jack

Put the IP address on the BVI1 interface and that should fix your problem. The dot1q trunking should be taking place on the subinterfaces.

Hi Netpro,

yes,i was put the ip address to the BV1 interface, but then i got lot of hostflapping between the switchport to switchport. mind to guide me how to solve the hostflapping issue ?

Jack
