There are numerous different reasons and bugs which can cause DLTS errors. As @marce1000 says that bug applies to later versions of code which are not even supported on 5508 WLC which is already end of support so it's very unlikely that CSCvj27233 matches your issue. So update your 5508 to 8.5.182.11 as already suggested by Marce and then troubleshoot from there. It's a waste of time trying to troubleshoot the problem on any older version of code because you will be hitting any of dozens of bugs already fixed in the latest software.
