when i tried to save the configuration of one of my AP 1200 access point, i encountered this error message
"Destination filename [startup-config]?
Building configuration...
nv_done: unable to open "flash:/config.txt.new"
nv_done: unable to open "flash:/config.txt.new"
nv_done: unable to open "flash:/private-multiple-fs.new"[OK]
NVRAM Verification Failed"
what is happening to my AP ?
flash corrupt ?

Could be your flash file-system is full.
Check the output of "dir flash:", even with the latest IOS version
there should be more than 2 MBytes free space.
If you find a lot of "crashinfo_*" files you can delete these with
delete /force flash:crashinfo*
Every "crash" writes a file "crashinfo*" to the flash file-system.
These are only useful if you open a SR with the Cisco TAC.

The trailing colon is important!
dir flash:
You could also try (w/ or w/o colon):
show flash

managed to clear all the crash/info files and the AP is online again.
wondering why is there so many crash/info files
residing on the AP.

Hi,
Can you please share how did you manage to clear all the crash/inof. I'm having the same problem and can't use
dir flash: commands.
Thanks,
Bab

Bab,
Are you in enable mode when you invoke the command "dir flash:"?
